NID Admission Process
Admission in all the courses offered at NID is on the basis of an aspirant’s performance in NID Entrance Exam. NID admission process is conducted in two stages – NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains. NID DAT 2022 is conducted to determine admissions to the Bachelor and Master Programs in Design at the National Institute of Design (NID). The entire DAT examination process consists of three steps: The Design Aptitude Test (DAT Prelims), DAT Mains, and Personal Interviews.
NID DAT 2022 Application Form date has been extended. Candidates can now fill NID DAT 2022 Application Form till December 6, 2021. NID has also extended the last date to submit NID DAT 2022 Application Form. Candidates appearing for NID DAT 2022 can submit application forms with late fees from December 6 to December 9, 2021. Application Form Correction Window would be open from December 06 – 13, 2021, with NID DAT 2022 Prelims exam will be held on January 2, 2022, in 23 cities

New Age Career in Design
IIAD Entrance exams are conducted for admissions into the undergraduate and post-graduate programs – Fashion Design (UG, PG), Communication Design(UG), Interior Architecture and Design(UG), Fashion Business Management(UG, PG) – offered by Indian Institute of Art and Design, New Delhi. The exam would be conducted across exam centers based in 3 cities: New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai.
IIAD (Indian Institute of Art and Design) 2022 is to be conducted on December 26-27, 2021 for the online mode candidates and on December 26, 2021 for the offline mode. The registrations for the exam will be opened till 17 December 2021. The exam is conducted twice a year in two cycles – Cycle 1 (May/June) and Cycle 2 (December). For Design courses, the IIAD Entrance Exam Pattern consists of 2 tests: iDAT and Studio Simulation, whereas applicants for Fashion courses are required to appear for iMAT and GD/PI tests. IIAD Entrance Exam Syllabus is designed to test the design aptitude and creative thinking skills of the candidates. Thus, the syllabus consists of topics from Logical Reasoning, and Creative Thinking, and Problem-Solving.

NIFTs are considered to be the best design colleges in the country. The first NIFT was established in 1986 at New Delhi and today the total number of NIFTs functional in the country are 18. The latest addition to the list is NIFT Panchkula and NIFT Varanasi. From 2021 onwards, NIFT Panchkula has been added to the list of colleges accepting NIFT entrance exam scores for admission, however, NIFT Varanasi still offers short-term courses only. While NIFT Panchkula started operations from a temporary campus in 2019.

NIFT Application Form 2022 released on December 3, 2021.
Eligible Candidates are supposed to submit the online Application Form for NIFT 2022 along with the prescribed fee by January 17, 2022. Last Date for filling NIFT Application Form 2022 for UG as well as PG candidates with late application fees of INR 5000 is January 22, 2022. - NIFT 2022 Form Correction window will open for candidates from January 18 to January 22, 2022. Candidates can edit and make changes in their application form by logging into their accounts. It must be noted that after closing of NIFT 2022 Form Edit window no changes in the registration will be entertained at any stage.

IIT Delhi
IIT- DELHI has been running a Masters of Design (BDes) programme since 1994. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will now offer a four-year programme on Bachelor of Design (BDes) from the academic session 2022-23. Admissions will be on the basis of Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED), registration for which has already begun at uceed.iitb.ac.in.
The programme is designed for imparting high quality education to produce industry ready and it will bridge the huge demand supply gap of quality design professionals, which our country needs to excel a creative economy.
IIT - GUWAHATI
The Department of Design (DoD), one of the thirteen departments at IIT Guwahati, was set up with a vision to inspire some of the brightest technical minds of the country a passion for innovation in technology driven by a firm understanding, appreciation and celebration of design.
The department offers an M.Des. degree, a B.Des. degree (the only undergraduate level degree of its kind in an Indian Institute of Technology) and a PhD degree in Design
Eligibility criteria for BDes at IIT Guwahati

M.Des. is a two-year full-time Programme which aims to provide broad-based understanding of design along with student-driven specialization in varied domains.

IDC - IIT BOMBAY
IDC School of Design at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) offers an excellent environment for academics, research and applications in the field of design. Clearing the UCEED exam is the only way to get admitted to IDC IIT BOMBAY. The four years B.Des course is deigned to allow students to explore all design fields available at IDC.

IITDM JABALPUR
Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing, Jabalpur was established in year 2005.
The Design Discipline at IITDM Jabalpur offers a “holistic” design program. The discipline offers a four years Bachelors in Design (BDes), two years Masters in Design (MDes) and PhD in Design programmes. The curriculum is a unique blend of design and technology whose aims is to provide a holistic perspective of design education to the young designers of the country.

IIT Design Application Process
CEED 2022
Application Form Date has been extended till November 18, 2021 with late fees of INR 500. The last date to submit CEED 2022 application form with a late fee had earlier been extended till November 16, 2021. Candidates who meet eligibility criteria can register themselves on the official website in online mode only. CEED 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on January 23, 2022, at 9:00 am while the admit cards will be released on January 8, 2022. CEED 2022 Registration started on September 9.
CEED exam is held in two parts- Part A which is an online computer-based test and Part B which is an offline test based on drawing. There is no prescribed CEED Syllabus,
UCEED 2022
Registration Date has been extended by IIT Bombay. The last date to register for candidates with late fee has been extended to November 18, 2021. IIT Bombay had earlier extended the registration till November 16, 2021.
- Candidates who have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board can now fill UCEED 2022 Application Form.
- IIT Bombay had earlier released UCEED 2022 exam dates. which is scheduled to be conducted on January 23, 2022.
- UCEED 2022 Registration had commenced on September 9.
- UCEED 2022 is a 3-hour test center-based examination conducted in two parts- Part A is a computer-based test while Part B consists of questions related to sketching that are to be attempted on a given sheet.
- UCEED 2022 Syllabus is based on Class 12th standard covering seven major topics including Visualization and Spatial Ability, Design Thinking and Problem Solving, Drawing, etc. The students are supposed to attempt 69 questions (68 + 1) within this time.
